Oh $#@!, I'm A Widow Book Reading.

Well, it's our first Working Girl video!! The video is a book reading of Oh $#@!, I'm a Widow. The audio quality is not the best but it will get better we promise. This book is very special to us and it's really the reason that Jodi and Tonja ever met! After Tonja's father passed away, she went looking for a gift book to give her mother, not finding one she decided to find an artist to bring the book to life. Enter Jodi Pedri, illustrator extraordinairre! The book was completed in a few short weeks and published shortly thereafter. Jodi and Tonja had so much fun working and creating together that we launched Working Girls Design, Inc. And the rest they say is history. So this is going out to all the widows out there, and is dedicated to Emily, Carmel, Nina and Alberta.

Lots of Love in Atlanta

Well the Working Girls had a fabulous time in Atlanta. It was off to many showrooms and one of our favorite stops was the C.R. Gibson showroom that had an entire table dedicated to the Working Girls Holiday collection! We just got our samples and they look great so here's hoping they will be at a retailer near you in the not to distant future. Let us know what you think!

Headed for Atlanta Gift Show

Well the appointments are all set and Jodi and Tonja are nearly off for their bi-annual trip to Atlanta. Of course we won't be going alone, our newest must have gadget i.e. Lola the ipad will be making the trip as well. Lola is a little nervous but I'm sure she'll do great. We'll be meeting with several manufacturer's and checking on the Holiday lines for 2011. Should be lots of fun. We'll have more pictures to post next week!

Okay, Maybe It's Halloween in July too!

We just got word from Design Design that The Working Girls have the #1 and #2 selling napkin in their fall line! So exciting. The two messages are "Chillin with my Ghoul Friends"  and "He carved the turkey, I did everything else!" Hope you enjoy them.
